We have recently Lost our Thunder (October 26, 2018) to this. And it can be a quick downfall,
We noticed on Sunday different things with our Boy, Monday we made a vet appointment for him, Tuesday he went in. Initial test showed Liver Damage and maybe 4 different things: A Toxin, Cancer, Lepto or Gal Bladder Blockage. The rest of the results would take a week to get. Vet started treating right away even though we did not know what it was. Fluids every morning to flush out the liver, meds and some shots too! Friday, morning, fluids came he was fine and the Vet said he hasn't gotten worse, showed us how to give him the fluids over the weekend. Back home we went. He took a couple hour nap which is normal for our Pittie. Got up to go outside and we noticed he was wobbling a little bit later he was even more wobbly as we took him out it took both of us to help him. He wandered around the back yard very wobbly. Called the vet they said it could possibly be the shot that was given to him. A half hour later I noticed he could not see at all. I lifted him up on the sofa as he could not get up there by himself, he did help me as much as he could and promptly layed down. I made motions in front of his eyes and then talked to him when he finally turned his head towards me, but still could not see my hand in front of his eyes. In that moment, I knew, I could not let him go on any longer. Called the vet at 4:30 pm, brought him in and about 5:38 pm I felt his last breathe on the back of my hand as I told him I loved him. We were heart broken, our boy was gone.

Monday, test results came in. It was Lepto. The one thing we did not want for sure to hear as we have other Dogs in the house and a 1 year old Grand Daughter. Next step..........Our Animals all into the vet and appointments at our clinic for blood work and Lepto testing. We are still waiting on the test (about a week)
